Rehabilitation of the Athlete - Hour 9 of 10 - Re-training Stability in the Athlete (Part B)

This course costs 1 Credit to purchase.

Course Objective

This is one-hour of a 10-hour live event. In this hour, Dr. Liebenson teaches how to evaluate movement and correct functional abnormalities and by applying specific exercise programs, increase stability and performance. This hour continues the lessons of Part 1 offering 13 additional exercises for the restoration of stability.

In the average person and in the elite athlete there exist faulty movement patterns that can lead to chronic disease and instability, as well as reduced strength and performance. This hour can be taken alone but would be best if taken in sequence with the entire course. In the 10-hour course Dr. Liebenson teaches how to detect and ultimately correct these faulty movement patterns allowing the average person and the elite athlete to reach their full potential while reducing the risk of injury.

Learning Objectives

The participant will be able to describe how to perform qualitative tests to find the source of bio-mechanical overload in the kinetic chain. He or she will be able to explain how to develop specific exercise programs that will enhance stability and performance while reducing the risk of injury.
